Become acquainted with the artistry of hand bookbinding and expand your conventional concept of a book. During our hands-on sessions, educators will produce several unusual book structures utilizing student-appropriate bookmaking tools and supplies. Experience the enjoyment of folding and binding paper into imaginative books that, once filled with words and/or images, will become a reflection of your students’ unique personality. The projects illustrated here have been specifically designed for the classroom by Karen Skove Chu and Kimberley Richardson Lindley. They are creative, open-ended, and customizable to any age or grade level. Contact us to discuss a workshop in which we will guide you through the basics of choosing the right materials and designs for your K-12 curriculum-based projects.
